The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) provided engineering and software development for the Nuclear Planning and Execution System (NPES) For over 15 years, Advanced Research personnel provided engineering and software development services for NPES and other Global Command and Control Systems (GCCS).

Areas of focus include engineering, development, and evaluation of all aspects of NPES to include:

• principal engineer for all NPES related communications
• platform integration liason with Army, Air Force, Navy, and SAP
• expert security engineer for SIOP matters
• center of excellence for the evaluation of strategic nuclear operations
